I'm not the one who's leaving. I never stopped believing, a string of words could save the world. I saw your face across the room, I never even made a move. To say the words I thought could close this chasm. It's so, so simple just to say, that it's so much easier this way. Nothing will change if we stay here, just waiting to move on. Waiting for the dawn. Sell me your golden future, tell me your broken past. Say something real and make it last. Tell me your plan of action, to unite these factions. Give me something and give it fast. It's so, so simple just to say, that it's so much easier this way. Nothing will change if we stay here, just waiting to move on. Waiting for the dawn.

A second pass, is never guaranteed, so get it right the first time. We never danced, never got to see just where our feelings lie. Throwing my life away, like tomorrow was promised for sleeping today. I object, so quietly. Watch while nothing ever changes (Nothing ever will). So here we sit, so awkwardly while this elephant fills the spaces. It's safe to say that talking is better than silence it's better. Throwing my life away, like tomorrow was promised for sleeping today. Sometimes it hurts, but we need to talk

Snapshots 02:52
Here we sit taking pictures, will they last us longer than clever lines? Still we read them like scriptures, lookin for strength from a stronger time. I believed in their worth of a thousand words, nothing more nothing less. Enough to get me on board. These pictures are accounts, we can't be stopped right now. We show no signs of breaking down somehow. These pictures will amount, to memories we count. Of times we found out how. I remember what was said, like how your love was crime. But so far in the future all I'll want to remember is the way you danced and smiled. When Oscar Grant was shot down in the subway and Oakland replied with a riot, there's a thousand words we can all right down to remember that we can breathe fire. These pictures are accounts, we can't be stopped right now. We show no signs of breaking down somehow. These pictures will amount, to memories we count. Of times we found out how.

I almost forgot that you died today. It seemed to make sense I'd go out somewhere and see your face. I almost believed that a pleading heart could keep time at bay. Now I know you'll never hear what I have to say. We can only live until we die You lived your life 'til the very end. You worked so hard to make your nows better than your thens. Always so quick with a smile or a hug for a saddened friend. And eighteen wheels doesn't feel like a fitting end. We can only live until we die

Strawberries 03:01
The longer it takes I know, the harder it is to let this go. I want to partake, but I know I should walk away. I swear it's the last time, I'm giving this up tomorrow night. This life is a series of decisions. And choices I don't want to make. I sold you my soul, life was moving too fast I was moving to slow. I'm taking control, take it back, hand it over. I'm scared and alone, facing my fears standing up on my own. This life is a series of decisions. And choices I don't want to make. I'm feeling the strain of our division. But you know I had to walk away. As long as my mind is free, no prison you build can hold me.
